Position
Summary:
Performs
a
wide
variety
of
critical
and
essential
communication
services
for
Campus
Police
and
Security
Services,
to
include
receiving
emergency
and
non-emergency
calls
for
assistance
and
determining
the
appropriate
action
in
response
to
those
calls.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
•
High
school
graduate
or
General
Educational
Development
(GED)
certificate
Experience:
•
One
(1)
year
front
facing
customer
service
experience
Specialized
Knowledge,
Licenses,
Etc.;
•
Proficient
in
Microsoft
Office
Suite
and
Google
Office
Suite
•
Bilingual
in
Spanish
preferred
Responsibilities
and
Essential
Functions:
The
following
duties
are
representative
of
performance
expectations.
A
reasonable

Duties

Responsibilities
(general):
•
Answers
calls
and
directs
callers
to
the
appropriate
service
provider
•
Performs
radio
communications
to
dispatch
officers
to
events,
maintains
log
entries
and
CAD
operations
as
needed;
this
includes
dispatching
calls
for
service
•
Monitors
911
emergency
calls
and
follows
up
on
event
•
Monitors
SCADA
system
(intrusion,
fire,
panic,
low
pressure,
freezer
and
high
temperature
alarms)
and
makes
proper
notification
as
necessary
•
Enters
data
with
regards
to
opening,
closing
and
evaluation
of
district
building
egress/ingress
•
Monitors
surveillance
cameras
•
Create
work
orders
for
Security
IT
team
•
Monitors
weather
including
utilizing
the
Thorguard
lightning
prediction
system
•
Acts
as
a
liaison
between
emergency
communications
with
the
City
of
Tulsa,
Tulsa
Public
Schools
Campus
Officers
and
TPS
alarm
personnel
in
the
field
•
Maintains
an
active
log
of
events
for
all
alarm
and
security
issues,
unique
or
unordinary
events,
arrests,
police
calls
and
any
issue
or
event
that
is
not
routine
in
nature
•
Performs
other
tasks,
duties,
or
services
consistent
with
this
position
as
assigned
