Position
Summary
:
The
Grounds
Journeyperson
performs
a
variety
of
tasks
necessary
to
maintain
the
grounds
and
athletic
fields
for
Tulsa
Public
Schools.
This
position
will
be
required
to
complete
all
assigned
work
orders
in
a
timely
manner.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Education:
β
High
School
Diploma
or
GED
preferred
Experience:
β
Two
(2)
years
of
grounds
related
work
experience
β
Previous
experience
using
common
hand
tools
Specialized
Knowledge,
Licenses,
Etc.:
β
Possess
or
the
ability
to
obtain
a
valid
Oklahoma
driverβs
license
β
Proficient
in
Microsoft
Office
Suite
or
Google
Office
Suite
or
able
and
willing
to
learn
Physical
Requirements:

Must
be
able
to
frequently
lift
up
to
50
lbs.

weed
eats,

edges

network
of
assigned
campuses

Trims
trees
and
shrubs
at
network

Removes
fallen
limbs,
grass,
and
litter
from
assigned
campuses

Mulches
and
removes
leaves
from
assigned
campuses
β
Assists
with
snow/ice
removal
of
assigned
campuses
β
Assists
with
storm
damage
remediation
of
assigned
campuses
β
Performs
other
duties,
tasks,
and
services
consistent
with
this
position
as
assigned
