Position Summary : To provide leadership for the development and implementation of the
school's academic instructional programs. To assist teachers in effective delivery of data driven
and personalized instruction and effective classroom management.
Qualifications/Job Requirements :
Education :
• Master's Degree from an accredited educational institution in a relevant area
Experience :
• Five (5) years successful teaching experience required
• Three (3) years ’ experience in an elementary or special education classroom
• Experience in curriculum and program development.
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, e tc.:
• Oklahoma teacher certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Certification in elementary or secondary administration preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities and Essential Functions: The following duties are representative of

• Model s effective classroom instruction for teachers
• Work s with individuals and teams of students and teachers in the implementation of
effective strategies for improving school climate and culture
• Develop s, coordinate s, and implement the school's site-based plan
• Work s with teachers and staff in the development and implementation of the core
components of the school's curriculum
• Participate s in personal development to acquire new skills and knowledge that supports
school programs
• Participate s in school governance activities
• Assist s in coordination and implementation of a parental and community involvement
program
• Collaborates with district level curriculum coordinator, director , and other employees to
ensure integration and coordination of the district's programs
• Work s with specialty area teachers, and other professional staff to coordinate, schedule ,
and implement programs
• Provide s support to teacher teams and school leaders in interpreting and implementing
data driven instruction and intervention
• Performs other duties, tasks, and services consistent with this position as assigned

• Internal: TPS District Employees
• External: Students, families, community members
Supervisory Responsibilities :
• Indirect oversight of instructional staff (certified and support) associated with the
program
Working Condition: Exposure to the following situations may range from remote to frequent
based on circumstances and factors that may not be predictable.
• Physical requirements consistent with an office setting
• Must be comfortable in a classroom setting
• Occasional travel between district sites
