Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the Assistant Superintendent of Organizational Learning, the Operations
Associate manages the office of the Assistant Superintendent of Organizational Learning and
supports the coordination of organization -wide logistics and related communications for various
strategic initiatives.
The Operations As sociate executes operational tasks and adeptly addresses sensitive cases as
assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Organizational Learning, and develops detailed
presentations, materials, and other reports for a wide variety of internal and external audiences .
Key Functions:
β Manages the office of the Assistant Superintendent of Organizational Learning, including
calendar and correspondence
β Coordinates logistics and communications for strategic initiatives
β Processes requisitions and coordinates meeting agendas and logistics through Munis
β Performs research and analysis to support decision- making
β Develops materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences
β Support projects and initiatives for the Deputy Superintendent
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
β Bachelorβs degree in the liberal arts, business administration, or related field, or
equivalent work experience in lieu of education
Experience:
β Three (3) years of working on project teams and/or managing projects or initiatives
involving a variety of stakeholders, preferably in a fast -paced environment
Licenses and Certifications:
β None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
β Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
β Bilingual in Spanish preferred
β Leverages strong organizational and time management skills, including keen attention to
detail, proactive problem -solving, and the ability to adhere to strict timelines
β Excellent multi -tasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects and work -streams
happening concurrently
β Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, creating public presentations
β Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast -paced environment
β Effectively engages with multiple constituencies
β Ability to work proactively, anticipating the needs of colleagues and assessing potential

Responsibilities and Essential Functions: The following duties are representative of

β Provides administrative and operational support to the Assistant Superintendent of
Organizational Learning and other team members as necessary, including managing the
Assistant Superintendentβs calendar and correspondence while ensuring preparedness
for events and meetings, processing requisitions for travel, supplies, and equipment through the efficient usage of the Munis system, and coordinating agenda and logistics
for team and executive cabinet meetings
β Performs research and analysis that supports decision- making
β Employs project management techniques to develop and maintain project schedules
β Develops high- quality materials, reports, and presentations for a range of internal and
external audiences
β Attends various meetings to communicate information, advice, and recommendations,
and makes presentations created to present technical proposals, plans, and documentation
β Performs other tasks, duties, or services consistent with this position as assigned
