Also, we love to have fun! Position Summary: As a teacher serving eligible students attending private schools, you’ll be a champion for equitable education. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure each of your students masters the objective of each lesson set forth by the curriculum. This will be accomplished through thoughtful planning, grade level/content area collaboration, and implementing best practices. A growth -mindset and a desire to receive actionable feedback will ensure you are prepared to meet the rigorous demands of educating students. Although teachers serve students attending private schools, the teacher is an employ ee of Tulsa Public Schools and reports to the Assistant Director of Grant Compliance. Teachers working in private schools must supplement and not supplant other services provided by the private school. Minimum Qualifications: Education : • Bachelor’s Degree Experience: • Previous experience working with children preferred Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: • Oklahoma Teaching Certification in the appropriate content area and grade span or the ability to be Emergency Certified in the appropriate content area and grade span • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite • Bilingual in Spanish preferred Responsibilities and Essential Functions: The following duties are representative of performance expectations.
